Shringar Cinemas lists on BSE at Rs 54

29th April 2005: Shares in Shringar Cinemas listed at Rs 54 on Friday on the BSE, a modest premium against an offer price of Rs 53. The initial public offer of 8.1 million shares from the film distributor and multiplex operator represented a dilution of 25.82% of the owner's stake and was subscribed more than eight times. The offering raised Rs 42.9 crore, which the Mumbai-based company plans to use to set up theatre complexes in more cities.

Gokaldas Exports lists at Rs 580 on BSE

27th April 2005: Shares in Indian apparel maker and exporter Gokaldas Exports listed at Rs 580 on the BSE on Wednesday, a premium of 36.5% above its offer price of Rs 425. The shares rose as high as Rs 628.90 in early trade. The offer of 3.13 million shares, representing 18.2% of the company's expanded share capital, raised about Rs 150 crore ($28.1 million). The offering was subscribed 47 times.
