1st March 2006: Anil Ambani-controlled Reliance Natural Resources Ltd was listed at Rs 17.50 on the stock exchanges on Wednesday.
The RNRL shares opened at Rs 17.50 on the Bombay Stock Exchange and touched a high of Rs 30 before being quoted at Rs 21 at 10:15 am. More than one crore shares changed hands in early morning trading in 135 block deals.
A total of 122.31 crore shares of face value Rs 5 each have been listed at BSE.
RNRL is the third of the four new companies transferred to Anil Ambani to be listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange. Last month, Reliance-ADAG had listed two of its entities - Reliance Capital Ventures and Reliance Energy Ventures. The Anil Ambani group would now list the shares of Reliance Communication Ventures.
The listing of the companies will be followed by a merger of REVL and RCVL with the utility major Reliance Energy Ltd and Reliance Capital Ltd respectively.
